⚾❤️ Talk about a GRAND SLAM! ❤️⚾

A huge shoutout to our amazingly talented cook, Bri, for showing her team spirit during our “Baseball Fan Day!” Not only did she knock her Reds look out of the park, but she also scored the ultimate prize. A trip to see the Cincinnati Reds! 🎟️⚾

We love seeing our team members join in on the fun, and judging by that adorable little Reds fan, Bri had the perfect teammate cheering alongside her! 🥹❤️

🇺🇸🔥 Labor Day was served HOT at Legacy Living Florence! 🔥🇺🇸

Yesterday, we celebrated the holiday the best way we know how, with a dining room full of friends, plenty of smiles, and a grill-out spread that had everyone coming back for seconds!

🍔🌭 From barbecue favorites and cheesy flatbreads to all the delicious sides and desserts, there was no shortage of good eats or good company.

A HUGE shoutout to our incredible Culinary Team for absolutely knocking it out of the park! 👏❤️ Thank you for putting so much time, care, and flavor into making our Labor Day celebration extra special for our residents. When the food is this good, every day feels like a holiday! 🇺🇸🍽️✨

🌟 EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT 🌟

Hi! I’m Hannah Russell, and I’m the Memory Care Director here at Legacy Living Florence! 💛

I’ve worked in senior living for several years and have had the opportunity to grow from working directly on the floor as a KMA into a leadership role in Memory Care. Caring for seniors, especially those living with dementia, is something I’m very passionate about, and I love being able to support both our residents and their families.

Outside of work, I recently got married to my husband, Hunter, and we have a very spoiled little dog named Midnight! 🐾 I also enjoy spending time with family and friends and continuing my education as I work toward my future goals in healthcare.

I’m very grateful for the relationships I’ve built with our residents, families, and team, and I’m excited to continue growing in my role and making a difference each day. 🩷

🎾 Move over, Wimbledon… Florence, KY has entered the tournament! 😂 Our residents grabbed their rackets, brought their best swings, and proved you don’t need a grass cour, or even a tennis ball, to serve up some serious fun! 🎈

With plenty of laughs, friendly competition, and a few ace-worthy shots, Wimbledon: Florence Edition was officially a SMASH! 💥🎾 Who knew balloon tennis could get this competitive?! 😆🏆

We’re officially tote-ally obsessed! 👜🍂

✨Our residents got creative designing their very own bags with colorful iron-on patches, adding a little personality with every press! From pumpkins and flowers to basketballs and acorns, each bag turned out as wonderfully unique as the person who made it. 🧡

🌻Who knew getting patched up could be this much fun?! 😍

🛍️ Who needs the mall when the boutique comes to you?! 👗✨

A HUGE thank you to our incredible volunteers for bringing in such an amazing selection of donated clothing and giving our residents the chance to enjoy a little shopping spree right at home! From colorful tops and cozy favorites to some seriously stylish finds, there was something for everyone to browse, try, and take home. 💕👚

We’re so grateful for volunteers who give not only their time, but also create experiences that bring choice, independence, connection, and a whole lot of fun to our residents. Judging by all the shopping happening, we’d say this pop-up boutique was definitely dressed for success! 🛍️💃✨

Our residents put their creativity to work designing their own wearable masterpieces—because when imagination is involved, there’s no such thing as coloring inside the lines! 🦋✨ Nothing beats an afternoon filled with bright colors, good company, and a little DIY magic! 💕

Today, we had the privilege of honoring the brave men and women who have served our country. 🇺🇸❤️

A very special thank you to Karen for sharing the incredible story of her father’s service during the Korean War, along with photographs, memories, and pieces of history that made his story come alive. We are especially grateful to honor his courage and sacrifice as a Purple Heart recipient. 💜

Moments like these remind us that history isn’t just something found in books — it lives in the stories, memories, and families around us. To Karen’s father and to all of our veterans: Thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and the freedoms you helped protect. 🇺🇸

We are forever grateful. ❤️🤍💙
