On Sunday, May 10, SC Presbyterian congregations will, for the 72nd consecutive year, receive an offering each Mother’s Day to support charitable care for residents of Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina who, after an extended time in residence and through no fault of their own, need financial assistance to continue meeting their financial obligations. Each year, gifts received from our donors and supporters provide approximately $1 million in charitable care support for our residents needing assistance. Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina is a group of Life Plan Communities serving nearly 1,000 residents on six campuses in South Carolina.
