We spend so much time teaching kids about “stranger danger,” but the truth is that unsafe people don’t always look scary.. and safe people aren’t always strangers. 🚫

Instead of teaching children to fear people, teach them to recognize strange behaviors: adults who ignore boundaries, ask them to keep secrets, try to get them alone, or make them feel uncomfortable. 🙅🏻‍♀️

Knowledge builds confidence. Practice builds safety. Conversations like these could make all the difference.
