MacKenzie Place Santa Fe Adventure: Day 4! ✨

Our final morning of adventure began with a beautiful Colorado sunrise and one last opportunity to enjoy the scenery surrounding Cheyenne Mountain Resort. After breakfast, our residents took to the water for a morning of kayaking, soaking in the peaceful lake and breathtaking mountain views. πŸ›ΆπŸ”οΈ

Then it was time to begin our journey home, but not before one more memorable stop! We enjoyed lunch at The Airplane Restaurant in Colorado Springs, dining alongside a genuine historic aircraft and adding a uniquely Colorado experience to our final day. ✈️🍽️

With full hearts (and full stomachs!), we climbed back into our vehicles for the final stretch to Fort Collins. From the charm and history of Santa Fe to relaxing mineral springs, mountain views, Western entertainment, beautiful meals, and countless moments shared together, this trip was truly one to remember. ❀️

πŸ”οΈ MacKenzie Place Santa Fe Adventure: Day 3! ✨

We said farewell to Santa Fe and began our journey north, making our way toward Colorado Springs. Along the way, we enjoyed a delicious lunch at Edelweiss German Restaurant, where we gathered around the table for a taste of Bavaria before continuing on to our next destination. πŸ₯¨πŸ½οΈ

By afternoon, we arrived at the beautiful Cheyenne Mountain Resort, where we had a chance to settle in and take in the stunning mountain views before heading out for an unforgettable evening at Flying W Ranch. πŸ”οΈ

The evening was filled with Western hospitality, great food, and plenty of entertainment as we enjoyed dinner and a lively cowboy show under the Colorado sky. It was the perfect way to cap off our final full day of adventure. 🀠

🌡 MacKenzie Place Santa Fe Adventure: Day 2! ✨

Our residents set out to explore the heart of the city, taking in the historic Plaza, charming galleries and local shops, and some of Santa Fe’s most treasured landmarks.

We admired the beautiful Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi and stepped inside the enchanting Loretto Chapel, taking time to appreciate the remarkable architecture and centuries of history woven throughout the city. πŸ•ŠοΈβœ¨

The evening continued with dinner before an unforgettable performance at El Flamenco Cabaret. It was a perfect way to experience a little of the city’s vibrant arts and cultural scene. πŸ’ƒπŸŽΆ

🌡 MacKenzie Place Santa Fe Adventure: Day 1! 🌡

Our Santa Fe getaway began with an early departure from Fort Collins and a beautiful day of discovery along the way. πŸšβ˜€οΈ

After a breakfast stop at Cracker Barrel, a few scenic stretches of Colorado and New Mexico, and plenty of laughs along the way, we traded the open road for an afternoon of relaxation and rejuvenation in the naturally mineral-rich waters at the Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs Resort.πŸ§–β€β™€οΈπŸ’¦

Once refreshed, we checked into the hotel before heading out for a delicious dinner at La Plazuela at La Fonda. An amazing first day filled with new places, exceptional experiences, and wonderful company. ❀️
