The Village of Sacred Melanin was one expression of my creative journey, rooted in wellness, birth work, and community care. As my work continues to evolve, these creations now live within Wild Currency Creative, a creative archive where movement, storytelling, education, and future projects continue to bloom. ❀

Many of you met me as a birth worker, educator, or yoga instructor, but those chapters are only part of my creative journey.

Before wellness, there was fashion, modeling, branding, product design, YouTube, entrepreneurship, and years of learning how creativity can become both meaningful work and lasting legacy.

I'm excited to finally share Wild Currency Creative, a space that brings those chapters together. This website serves as my creative archive, publishing studio, and home for the work I've been building over the years, from collaborations and workbooks to creative projects that continue to evolve.

A couple months ago, I shared that I was raising funds to attend an advanced Yoga teacher training that will allow me to expand the wellness support I provide to military families and rural communities.

Since then, I have been selected as a recipient of the Donald R. Tyree Foundation Scholarship AND the Birth Future Foundation Fund (BFF) Watering the Seeds: Doula Edition 😍😭🙌🏾

I have also personally invested more than $3,800 toward this journey while continuing my work as a doula, perinatal yoga instructor, community health educator, and senior pursuing my bachelor's degree in Global and Community Health.

Through this work, I have supported military families and civilian families across rural Georgia through yoga, maternal wellness education, community partnerships, and volunteer initiatives throughout the Fort Stewart area.

After scholarships, community support, and my own investment, $1,600 remains to fully fund this next phase of training.

Calling all birth workers ✨

I’m currently raising funds to attend an advanced Yoga teacher training to deepen my practice and continue supporting military and civilian families through movement, maternal wellness, and perinatal education.

Unfortunately, many people outside of the military assume that military equals money. This is not always the case, especially not while living in rural maternity care deserts!
