Painting sun catchers is more than just a fun craft—it encourages creativity, supports fine motor skills, and provides a sense of accomplishment as each unique masterpiece comes to life. Most importantly, it brings joy and adds a personal touch to the spaces our residents call home. 🪴

Amedisys Home Health will share information on covered services including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and nursing care.

Home Instead will provide information on covered services for personal care and assistance around the home.

Carmel Manor is looking to add volunteers to a fun day we have planned here at Carmel Manor, Friday, June 12th!

We will be hosting a "car wash" for our loved ones where the vision is for them to have summer fun going under a sprinkler and then getting their wheelchair washed and cleaned. This is an outdoor activity here at our facility located in Fort Thomas, Kentucky!

We will have two time slots for volunteers:

10 AM-12 PM
1:00 PM-3:00 PM

We will have all the supplies, just need the extra hands, smiles, and laughter to make this day great!

This is a wonderful volunteer or service hour(s) opportunity for students of all ages and their families. It is also a great confirmation project for students seeking confirmation service hours. Better yet, team bonding for youth sports or work related volunteer projects!

Our loved ones recently spent time creating beautiful arts and crafts projects, and the benefits go far beyond the finished masterpiece!

Creative activities encourage self-expression, stimulate the mind, enhance problem-solving skills, and provide a wonderful opportunity to explore imagination. Arts and crafts also help strengthen fine motor skills, improve focus, and foster a sense of accomplishment and pride.

Most importantly, these moments bring joy, laughter, and meaningful social connections as residents share ideas and inspire one another.

At Carmel Manor, we believe every day is an opportunity to learn, create, and celebrate the unique talents of those we serve. 💚
