One of the most beautiful things about karma is that it does not have to look like watching the people who hurt you finally get what they deserve. It can look like becoming so happy with your own life that you stop needing to know what happened to theirs. It can look like meeting someone who makes you grateful the wrong relationship ended. Finding an opportunity that explains why another door would never open. Waking up one morning and realizing that something which once consumed your thoughts has not crossed your mind in weeks.
The last six years have changed what many of us value. After enough uncertainty, peace starts to feel like wealth. Consistency becomes more attractive than intensity. Having people you can depend on matters more than having a lot of people around. A life that feels good to live becomes more important than one that simply looks impressive from the outside. Perhaps some of what is returning to you now could only be appreciated because of what these years taught you to recognize.
