🤔 How do I know I have hearing loss? 🤔
The obvious things to look for are difficulty hearing in noisy situations or over the phone and feeling people mumble, but you can keep an ear out for other signs as well:
👂 difficulty figuring out where sounds are coming from
😴 fatigue from concentrating on group conversations
👂 asking people to repeat themselves consistently
😠 frustration and irritation at missing pieces of conversation and trying to fill in the blanks
👂 social isolation

🦻 Tell people how to best communicate with you: Whether you need to be face-to-face or things written down, you are not an inconvenience.
☎️ Ask for accomodations when you need them. This could be a different phone at work, a quiet table at a restaurant, or any number of things.
📲 Learn about the latest hearing loss technologies. If you're not sure what tools could help, reach out and ask one of our team members!
