What’s cooking at The Waters? 👩‍🍳✨

Lately, our ladies have been mixing up some fun in the kitchen! They recently rolled up their sleeves and made their very own batch of puppy chow and chocolate chip cookies—of course, enjoying the finished product was the best part. 😋🍪

There’s something special about getting back in the kitchen, sharing a few laughs, and whipping up a sweet treat together!

Who needs an arcade when you have a HUMAN claw machine?! 🕹️😂

Our amazing Activity Director, April, brought one of everyone’s favorite arcade games to life—and our residents were officially in control! They pressed the “buttons,” called out their directions, and guided April left, right, forward, and back until… GRAB! 🫳🎁

There were plenty of laughs, a little strategy, and some very serious claw-machine directing happening along the way. 😂 We love finding creative ways to turn an ordinary day into something our residents will be talking about long after the game is over!

Baby, it’s hot outside… 🥵☀️🎄

…but Christmas in July was one to remember at The Waters of Fort Wayne! Our July highlight of the month turned into a full-blown holiday celebration, complete with Santa’s Beach Bum Cupcakes, Santa’s Sunset Punch, Jolly Green Elf Juice, Melted Snowmen, a Frosty Cheese Ball, Holiday Crunch Bark, a grape wreath, and North Pole charcuterie boards! 🎅🍹🍪🎄

And what would Christmas be without a few very special guests? Residents had the chance to snap pictures with Santa himself AND the Grinch, who apparently decided to take a little break from stealing Christmas to join the fun! 💚📸

From the festive treats to the familiar faces from the North Pole, we may have forgotten for a moment that it was actually July!

Let’s go shopping! 🛍️

Our Waters Boutique was a huge success! Residents had so much fun “shopping” for items and walked away with bags full of goodies.

A big thank you to everyone who donated and helped make this special day possible. Your generosity brought smiles, excitement, and a wonderful shopping experience to our residents. We couldn’t have done it without you! 💙
