Home isn’t always a house, it’s wherever you feel most comfortable and cared for. 🖤
Hospice care is designed to meet patients where they are. Whether that’s a private residence, assisted living community, memory care community, or skilled nursing facility, the hospice team brings compassionate, personalized care directly to the patient.
At Valor Hospice, our goal is to help patients remain in familiar surroundings while receiving the comfort, dignity, and support they deserve.

Our Fort Worth team had another great week out in the community! 💜

From celebrating hardworking healthcare teams to building connections and showing appreciation, our Valor Hospice Fort Worth team loved every opportunity to serve and connect last week!

🌮 Fred Montoya switched things up and put his cooking skills to work, preparing a homemade meal for the team at Mallard Creek instead of ordering out. Nothing brings people together quite like a home-cooked meal!

🤝 Our team attended the Fort Worth LinkedIn Meeting, where Joey Muniz stepped was the facilitator! We’re proud to see our team members continuing to lead, connect, and strengthen relationships throughout the Fort Worth healthcare community.

🍕 We also celebrated Housekeeping Week a little early at Avir at Eastwood, treating the hardworking housekeeping team to lunch and recognizing the important work they do each day to create a clean, comfortable environment for residents.

We’re grateful for our Fort Worth team and the heart they put into building meaningful relationships throughout our community. Whether it’s through a meal, a celebration, or simply showing up to support others, it’s the little things that can make a big difference. 💜

What an incredible night for the Valor Foundation! Last night, we officially celebrated the launch of the Valor Foundation at the Fort Worth Club, and we are still overwhelmed with gratitude for the support we received. 💛
Our silent auction brought plenty of excitement and some competitive bidding for amazing experiences and events throughout DFW, but the most meaningful part of the evening was seeing so many people come together in support of a mission that means so much to us.
The Valor Foundation was created to go above and beyond traditional hospice care, extending compassion and support to hospice patients, their families, and the healthcare professionals who care for them. Through our programs, we hope to provide comfort, fulfill meaningful wishes, create lasting memories, support families during difficult times, and help meet needs that may otherwise go unmet.
To everyone who attended, donated, bid in the silent auction, contributed an item, or helped make this event possible: thank you. Your generosity will enable this Foundation to turn compassion into action and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most. We are also incredibly grateful to everyone who worked behind the scenes to bring this special evening together.
Most importantly, we thank God for this opportunity, for blessing our staff, and for opening the doors that made the Valor Foundation a reality. We are so excited to see where He leads this Foundation, how it continues to grow, and how many patients, families, and healthcare professionals we will have the privilege of blessing along the way.
And this is only the beginning! We are already planning our next Valor Foundation event, and we’ll be announcing all the details in the next few weeks. Here’s a little hint… get your teams ready for a FUN kickball tournament!

✨ Celebrating our Houston team! 💜

Our Valor Hospice Houston team came together for their quarterly staff meeting and lunch—a wonderful opportunity to connect, celebrate accomplishments, recognize team members, and spend time together outside of the day-to-day.

A special thank you to Cornerstone Caregivers for generously sponsoring lunch for our Houston staff! We truly appreciate our community partners and their continued support. 🤍

The team also celebrated our September birthdays 🎂 and shared some especially meaningful moments. RN Case Manager Latasha Roberts and CNA Kiersten Jackson were each surprised with beautiful flowers from families they had cared for as a heartfelt thank-you. 💐 These gestures are a powerful reminder of the relationships our team builds and the lasting impact compassionate hospice care can have on patients and their families.

We are so proud of our Houston team and grateful for the compassion, dedication, and heart they bring to the families we serve every day. 💜

✨ Another busy week at Valor Hospice! ✨

From supporting important causes to sharing meals, sweet treats, and plenty of smiles, our teams had another great week connecting with the communities we serve! 💜

🧠 We helped support the Healthy Lives Matter Alzheimer’s Education Seminar, connecting with attendees and helping raise awareness and education surrounding Alzheimer’s.

☕ We sponsored breakfast for Coffee Connections at Legacy Oaks of Azle and celebrated the winner of our Valor gift basket from the Healthy Lives Matter event!

💜 We supported the Alzheimer’s Association with a prize basket for Bingo Night.

🍽️ Our team provided lunch for case managers at Methodist Richardson, lunch at Highland Woods Health in The Woodlands, lunch for Lake Lodge, and breakfast for the HCA Kingwood Case Management Department.

📚 We joined in on a Back-to-School event at Ridgewood, helping celebrate and connect with our community.

🥤 We brought a little extra fun to Cedar Hollow in Sherman with a Dirty Soda Bar!

🎂 We helped celebrate birthdays at Springtown Park with a special birthday cake.

🍨 Residents at Westpark enjoyed an ice cream sundae bar with all the toppings and plenty of sweet treats!

🍌 We celebrated National Banana Split Day with the residents at Hilltop, serving up banana splits and spending some quality time together.

🎶 And we had a little Dolly Day fun at Encore!

Whether we’re supporting healthcare professionals, partnering with community organizations, celebrating residents, or simply sharing a meal or sweet treat, we’re grateful for every opportunity to build relationships and make someone’s day a little brighter. 💜✨
