On the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, our teams across Texas stopped to observe a moment of silence in honor of the lives lost that day and in recognition of the families, survivors, and first responders who continue to be affected by its impact.

We remember the courage, sacrifice, and resilience shown in the face of unimaginable loss.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

Join us in celebrating our September DON and ADONs of the Month — Carol Solis, DON, and Jessica Inglis, ADONs at Mission Ridge Rehabilitation and Nursing!

Carol and Jessica have been instrumental in improving the culture and clinical performance at Mission Ridge. Together, they have built a strong and stable nursing leadership team focused on quality resident care and positive outcomes.

Carol’s leadership is reflected in Mission Ridge’s excellent hospitalization rates, helping residents remain in the facility and avoid unnecessary hospital transfers. She has also embraced key initiatives such as PDPM, with Mission Ridge now performing among the highest in the company. The facility is also a top performer in IV administration, further supporting the ability to care for higher-acuity residents in-house.

Jessica has been instrumental in this success. She and Carol work extremely well together, and Jessica is always eager to learn and implement tools and processes that improve clinical systems and resident care.

Together, Carol and Jessica have brought stability, teamwork, and strong clinical performance to Mission Ridge.

The meals have been on point, and it’s clear the team is putting so much care and effort into every plate. From BBQ ribs and all the fixings to that delicious S’mores in a Cup, this meal looks absolutely amazing!

Our residents at Greenbrier Nursing of Palestine enjoyed a home-style lunch with roast beef and gravy, seasoned red skin potatoes, baby carrots, a honey-kissed roll, and frosted banana cake for dessert.
