🎨✨ Turning creativity into something worth displaying!

Our residents enjoyed a relaxing creative activity by choosing their own mandala designs, adding their personal touch with color, and then placing their finished artwork in a frame to display. 🖼️🌈

Each mandala was as unique as the resident who created it! We love giving our residents opportunities for self-expression, creativity, and the satisfaction of seeing their work become part of our community.

🃏🌙 The fun doesn't stop after dinner at PHS!

Our residents enjoyed a relaxing evening of cards, conversation, and good company during one of our evening programs. There's nothing like gathering around a table with friends for a little friendly competition and plenty of laughs! ❤️

We love offering evening programs so our residents can stay connected and engaged throughout the entire day. At PHS, there’s always something to look forward to—even after dinner!

🏖️☀️ One last beach day!

Our residents made the most of the beautiful summer weather with one final beach outing before summer comes to an end. From the sunshine and fresh ocean air to good conversation and time spent with friends, it was the perfect way to wrap up our summer beach adventures! 🌊💙

We’re already looking forward to more sunny days and new adventures next summer! 😊

💙 Connection, engagement and support; all while staying connected to home.

PHS’s Adult Day Life Enrichment Program (ADLEP) gives seniors the opportunity to enjoy meaningful activities, socialize with others and experience the welcoming PHS community without having to move in.

ADLEP also gives caregivers and families valuable respite, with the peace of mind that their loved one is spending the day in a supportive and engaging environment.
It can even be a great way for seniors to experience life at PHS firsthand and see what our community has to offer!

Outdoor activities like bocce give our residents the opportunity to stay active, enjoy the fresh air, and spend quality time with friends. It's all part of making the most of every beautiful day! 💚

🦋✨ A little color can brighten any day!

Our residents had fun creating beautiful butterfly suncatchers, transforming colorful butterflies into a cheerful display for the windows of our West Wing. 🎨🦋☀️

Each butterfly brought its own splash of color, and together they created a bright and beautiful decoration for our community. We love seeing our residents' creativity come to life and finding new ways to make PHS feel even more welcoming!

💌❤️ From pen pals to real-life friends!

Our residents had a wonderful time finally meeting their Howie’s Heart Pen Pals in person! After exchanging letters and getting to know one another through their heartfelt messages, it was so special to see these friendships come to life face-to-face. 😊

There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and great conversations as our residents met the people they had been writing to. Even more special, many of these connections have continued beyond the program, with residents and their pen pals staying in touch!

What started with a simple letter turned into meaningful friendships that reached across generations. We love seeing the connections our community creates! 💕📬
