So many women come to us thinking a “tight” pelvic floor means a strong, healthy one. But nobody really explains this part…
A tight pelvic floor isn’t always a strong one. Sometimes it’s just tense, guarded & holding on when it doesn’t need to. When your muscles can’t fully relax and lengthen, s*x can become uncomfortable or even painful even when everything “looks fine.”
Learning how to actually release and lengthen those muscles (not just squeeze them) is often the missing piece. It’s about teaching your body it’s safe to let go.
If s*x has ever hurt and you’ve just quietly accepted it or figured it was something you had to push through, we want you to know that’s not something you have to live with! Your body deserves to feel good, not just get through it. You are not broken, and you are not alone in this!
If this is resonating with you, we’d love to help you figure out what your body actually needs. Book a consultation with one of our providers through the link in our bio. 🤍
