Some years ago, I laughed because Jasmine wanted up on my massage table so badly. The moment I lifted her onto it, she laid right down like she’d been doing it her whole life. She just knew exactly what to do.

Looking back now, I realize Jasmine wasn’t just stealing my workspace—she was reminding me of something I tell my clients every day.

Rest isn’t lazy.
Comfort isn’t earned.
Healing matters.

She had no guilt about taking the soft spot, slowing down, or simply existing in a place that felt safe.

Maybe we could all learn a little from dogs.

Hug your people. Take the massage. Rest when your body asks. Life changes far too quickly.
