Happy 1st Birthday, Watermere at Firewheel! It is hard to believe that it has been a year since our Grand Opening. We couldn’t have had this one year anniversary party without our incredible staff and the residents that live here.

The first four pictures are from one year ago and the rest are from today. Our team has grown and so has the Watermere family. A big thank you to everyone for making this such an amazing place to live and work!

A big congratulations to our Patio Contest Winner, Madeline and her pup, Sophie! Her beautiful outdoor space truly stood out with creativity, charm, and personality. From colorful flowers to cozy décor, this patio became the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sunshine.

Madeline spoke on her patio and living at Watermere saying: “I love where my apartment is located, so close to just about everything. I also love being able to have the courtyard to look out at... I love Sophie having a backyard, I’m able to have my flowers, and able to visit with neighbors when they are out. It’s such a friendly community. I never doubted that I made the right decision… it’s just my perfect place!”

We had a great time during this team-bonding activity with our Maintenance and Housekeeping teams. We are so proud of the dedication, care, and support our team members show each day to the residents we serve. 🤝🛠️

It was a truly incredible experience getting to visit the National Medal of Honor Museum. We heard and read the stories of those who risked their lives to go above and beyond the call of duty. This museum is such a great tribute to the fewer than 4,000 soldiers who have received this medal.

A huge thank you to all of our amazing vendors, staff, residents, families, and guests who joined us for a day filled with wellness, education, fun, and community connection at our Spring Health Expo. From health screenings and helpful resources to giveaways and smiling faces, the event was a wonderful success! We especially enjoyed the coffee and beignets from Cafe Lafaye! We loved seeing everyone come together to celebrate healthy living and support one another.
