What a special treat our neighbors, community members, and staff got to experience. We received a visit from Marina, a Mexican Folklorico dancer who believes dance is a joyful form of exercise that improves balance, has positive effects on the immune system, and creates social engagement that addresses loneliness and depression. She and her husband Nestor reside in Williston, North Dakota and are part of the Art for Life program in North Dakota. They graced us with a wonderful afternoon of dance and fellowship.

We had a wonderful afternoon with Glea and Mark from the Audubon Refuge. They educated our neighbors on all things Audobon Refuge and even brought supplies to make wildlife art. The day was topped off by Mrs. Belisle's Preschoolers from Bob Callies Elementary joining us for this special event. Thank you to all who made this such an amazing day!

Last week we celebrated National Home Week. This is a week we honor and celebrate those who live and work in our home and make it the great place it is! Our theme, Moments in Bloom, afforded a lot of opportunity for our creative staff to come up with fun activities, dress days, and on-theme snacks. From sing-alongs to boquet-making, to eating dirt cake......fun was had by all!

Following Mass, Father Christy regularly joins in on fun and games with our neighbors. Last week, he happened to come on our Gardening Theme Day. As usual, he joined right in and sported a fancy gardening hat for the occasion. Thank you to Father Christy for taking the time to be so involved in our home and in our Neighbors' lives! ✝👒🌷🙏
