🔔🧠 Have you EVER heard a song or a particular sound and suddenly gotten CHILLS throughout your entire body?! 👀
I’m talking actual GOOSEBUMPS.
Maybe your eyes start watering. 🥹
You feel something in your chest.
Or you get this strange sensation moving through your body that you can’t quite explain.
And you’re sitting there thinking…
HOW THE HELL DID A SOUND JUST MAKE ME FEEL ALL OF THAT?! 😂
Well, here’s where things get REALLY interesting… 🔮
Sound isn’t just something we hear. It’s actually a physical vibration! 🫨
Sound travels in waves, and when those waves reach our ears, they’re converted into electrical signals that our brains interpret.
But the experience doesn’t stop there! 🧠
Sound and music can influence brain networks involved in emotion, memory, movement, and reward.
And sometimes, certain sounds trigger something researchers call…
✨ MUSICAL FRISSON ✨
Fancy name for those intense chills or goosebumps you might experience while listening to music!
And YES, scientists have actually studied this! 🤯
Research has linked pleasurable musical chills with activity in the brain’s reward system, including dopamine signaling.
Think about that for a second…
Something you can’t physically SEE can create a very REAL response throughout your body.
Pretty fascinating, right?! 👀
Now here’s what makes this even more interesting to me…
For centuries, different cultures have used sound through chanting, singing, drumming, bells, and instruments as part of spiritual and healing traditions. 🌿🔮
And today, researchers continue exploring how music, rhythm, and vibration influence our emotional and physical experiences.
That doesn’t mean every frequency has magical healing properties, but it DOES show how deeply connected our senses, brains, and bodies really are.
And honestly, this is one of the reasons I’ve become so fascinated with incorporating sound into my work at Elements. ❤️
There’s something incredible about slowing down, listening, and noticing what happens within yourself.
Sometimes the things we experience are so much more complex than we realize.
And the more I learn about the connections between science and the unseen, the more curious I become! 🌙
💬 Now I HAVE to know…
Have you ever heard a song, instrument, or sound that gave you full-body chills or made you emotional for absolutely no obvious reason?! 😳🔔
Tell me what it was…I’m curious ❤️
