Hearing health is more than just volume! It’s about staying connected to the people and moments you love most. 👂✨

If conversations seem harder to follow or sounds aren’t as clear as they used to be, it may be time for a hearing check.

Our Occupational Therapists use a variety of tactics to treat fine motor delays in fun and engaging ways! One of our favorites is finger painting! 🎨

Finger painting is a powerful activity that builds on the fine motor strength, wrist stability, and finger isolation children eventually need in order to comfortably hold a pencil and form letters when they're ready to write. And at the end there's the added benefit of a piece of art you can treasure!

Restaurants. Airports. Theaters. Concert Venues.
Noisy environments can make hearing especially frustrating, but new technology is changing that.

🎆 Fireworks are fun.
Permanent hearing damage? Not so much.

A single fireworks blast can reach up to 160 decibels, loud enough to harm big and little ears in seconds. Children’s ears are still developing, so those booming finales can sound even louder to them. 👂💥

Before you head out to celebrate, make sure both your and your kids’ hearing is protected with proper hearing protection (earmuffs, earplugs, etc.). Keep at a safe distance, and make a game plan for quieter breaks.

Your holiday memories should last forever; hearing damage should not. 🎇
Contact us. We’re happy to help get you the right protection.

Hearing loss doesn’t always show up the way you expect:

👂 Struggling to follow conversations in noise
🔉 Asking others to repeat themselves
💤 Feeling tired after social interactions
📢 Turning up the volume more than others prefer

These small changes are easy to overlook, but they can add up over time.
If this sounds familiar, it may be time to reach out to us.

Hearing Aids Are Getting Smarter 🧠 They don’t just turn things up anymore. They’re learning how you listen.

Hearing Loss Doesn’t Always Sound Like Hearing Loss

🫨 Sometimes it shows up as mental fatigue.
😐 Or needing extra focus just to follow a conversation.

Your brain may be working harder to fill in missing details, even if you don’t notice it right away.
Understanding these early changes is the first step toward staying connected and confident.

Feeling the effort? A hearing check can help you understand what’s going on.
