June Perryman

On October 15, 2026, the Lord looked down from Heaven and said: "Junie, it is time for you to come home". Her homegoing will be celebrated on her birthday, October 19, 2026, at Clarksville City Baptist Church with Andy Dunklin officiating.

Evelyn June Perryman was born October 19, 1930, in Seminole, Ok to Don & Edna Wayt. She was the third oldest of nine children. Most of her younger years were spent in Oklahoma, but she is a 1948 graduate of White Oak High School after moving there her junior year. She went on to continue her education at ETBC in Marshall, TX to become a lifelong educator. She had a true heart for teaching. Her passion for teaching included forty-plus years of elementary school, Sunday school classes for all ages, VBS, adult education & job training services, and teaching numerous family members. If you were ever around June, odds are she taught you something.

In January of 1955, she married William Ray Perryman of Hawkins, Texas, and together they had two daughters, Lynn and Ginger. They spent many years in the Dallas area before moving back to East Texas, where she lived out the rest of her life. She was a four-time cancer survivor and wore the cancer survivor ribbons proudly. She loved to read, cross stitch, crochet, and share the love of Jesus with anyone she came in contact with. June loved being with family, and her mission before leaving this earth was to know each and every one of her kids and grandchildren had a personal relationship with Christ. She spent many summers teaching her granddaughters how to cross stitch, and her grandsons their family history, reading, and multiplication facts. She was so loved and will be missed by many!

Loved ones left to celebrate her homegoing are her daughter and son-in-law, Lynn & Darrell Florence, of Flint. Grandchildren Ashley Perryman of Gilmer; Amber and husband Denson French of Longview; Aundi and husband Dustin Wynne of Bullard; Shelley Hankins; Bayley Florence of Flint; Dylan and wife Brittany Florence of Flint. Great-grandchildren Daisy French, Traeson Wynne, Abby Hankins, Tannon Wynne, Dalton Hankins, Tate Wynne, Libby French, and Ryker Florence. Great-great-grandchildren Milo and Sophia. Sister Peggy Jo Schroder of Safford, AZ. Many beloved nieces and nephews.

June was preceded in death by husband Ray Perryman; daughter Ginger Knott; parents Don and Edna Wayt; siblings Annette Drake, Alberta King, Duane Wayt, Elbert Wayt, Patsy Ann Dunklin, Bob Wayt, and Russel Wayt; granddaughter Brooke.

June wanted everyone to take note of her new address: 1627 Heavenly Highway, Praisetown, Heaven 10000. Phone service is currently unavailable, but you can reach Jesus on His main line 24/7 or Knee-Mail Him via the World Wide Web at [email protected]

In lieu of flowers, June requested yellow smiley-faced balloons.

A Celebration Service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, October19, 2026, at Clarksville City Baptist Church. Graveside service to follow at the old White Oak Cemetery in White Oak, TX

The family is deeply grateful to the nurses, aides, and staff at Buckner Westminster Place for the loving kindness and exceptional care they provided during Junie’s final months. We also wish to extend a special thank you to the loving staff of Hospice Plus for their compassionate care and support in her final days.

Have you considered what happens when you call us? Most people start with "My mom died" or "I don't know what I'm supposed to do." From there, we know what to ask next. You don't need the right words.

We'll help you make sure the right people have been contacted, then gather basic information like your loved one's name, where they are, and whether there are any known wishes or preplanned arrangements.

Everything doesn't have to be answered right away because we can take it one step at a time. Once we have permission, our staff will come to where your loved one is and bring them into our care. From the first call, our job is to help you understand what happens next and make sure your loved one is cared for with dignity from the very beginning.
