Virginia Community Healthcare Association Virginia’s primary care association representing 31 member health centers across the Commonwealth. Advocate. Educate. Elevate.

Virginia Community Healthcare Association (VCHA), established in 1980, is a non-profit membership organization that serves as the primary care association for Virginia’s thirty community health centers and look-alike health centers. Membership in VCHA is open to all Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and Federally Qualified Health Center Look-Alikes operating delivery sites in Virginia. VC

HA supports our health centers in their mission to provide access to health care regardless of geographic location or ability to pay. VCHA works with health centers, community leaders, and partners to enhance access to affordable, high-quality health care and to find solutions for expanding access to care in areas that need it most.

We're honored to be welcoming Christopher Koller, Past President of the Milbank Memorial Fund, and Marvin Figueroa, Virginia Secretary of Health and Human Resources to the 2026 VCHA Annual Membership Meeting and Conference. Through our Group Purchasing Organization, we are excited to announce a new strategic partnership with RainTech, a healthcare-focused managed IT, cybersecurity and AI solutions provider. This partnership expands the portfolio of technology solutions available to Virginia’s community health centers, helping them strengthen security, modernize operations and enhance care delivery.

Still thinking about how wonderful our Golf Outing was⛳

On April 20, we hosted our third Charity Golf Outing in support of our Community Health Scholarship. Over 90 golfers participated and every dollar raised on the day went directly to scholarship funding. Beautiful weather and an incredible cause - can't ask for better than that!

Great news from Community Health Center of the New River Valley!

🚨Fundraising milestone alert!

Community Health Center of the New River Valley announced they are halfway to their fundraising goal for their new facility! The latest gift is a $100,000 donation from Bud Foster’s Lunch Pail Defense Foundation, which will underwrite two pediatric medical treatment rooms and two pediatric dental treatment rooms.
