How do you compare one GLP-1 weight management program to another?
Over the past year, many of you have watched Get Tox'd grow. Most people first came to know us for our aesthetic services, and we're incredibly grateful for the trust you've placed in us. As our practice has grown, we've also experienced tremendous growth in our medically guided weight management and wellness programs. That growth has given us the opportunity to continually refine our protocols, expand our resources, strengthen partnerships, and invest in new tools that help our clients achieve the best possible outcomes.
One thing we've learned along the way is that comparing GLP-1 weight management programs isn't always easy. Every company advertises differently. Some advertise a low monthly starting price, others promise your monthly payment will never change, and some advertise only a monthly cost without ever telling you how much medication you're actually receiving. It can make it difficult to know whether you're actually comparing apples to apples. We encourage anyone considering a program—whether it's ours or someone else's—to ask a few simple questions. How much medication am I receiving? What happens if my dosage changes? Who is managing my care? Will my labs be reviewed? Will someone help me if I hit a plateau or experience side effects? Am I simply purchasing medication, or am I enrolling in a medically guided program?
At Get Tox'd, we believe transparency matters. Rather than charging a flat monthly membership, you pay for the medication you actually receive and all of our all-inclusive, intangible guidance and advice. When we compare programs on a cost-per-milligram basis, we believe our pricing is among the most competitive available. More importantly, we believe medication is only one piece of a successful weight management program.
Leah has been prescribing GLP-1 medications since 2019, years before they became widely recognized for weight management. Her experience began treating patients with diabetes, and she has continued to study the evolving science as new medications, research, and clinical evidence have emerged. That knowledge allows her to individualize treatment, interpret laboratory findings, manage side effects, adjust therapy when appropriate, and provide guidance that's tailored to each client's goals. We don't simply want to prescribe these medications—we want to truly understand them and help our clients use them safely and effectively.
As an independent practice, we're able to continually evolve. We aren't tied to a corporate protocol or a one-size-fits-all approach. When we find ways to improve the client experience, we implement them. That's why you'll begin seeing enhancements like our Transformation Tracker, more comprehensive progress measurements, complimentary MICC injections during follow-up visits, expanded educational resources, and partnerships like The Gym 518. If you're already part of our program, many of these enhancements will become part of your future visits because we believe your experience should continue improving as we grow.
The infographic below highlights the five principles that guide every aspect of our medically guided weight management program. They're more than talking points—they're the foundation of how we care for our clients every day. Thank you to everyone who has trusted us with your care. Your confidence in our team has allowed us to continue learning, growing, and building a program that we're incredibly proud of, and we're just getting started.
