Attention parents of infants: Our CYSHCN Program staff will hold a free language development program for infants and 1-year-olds on 𝐓𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟓, at Crandall Public Library in Glens Falls.

Speech and Language Pathologist Terry Bogsted will help parents better understand their little ones' communications, and all participants will receive a language-enhancing toy. The event will start at 10 a.m.

This week in 2012, Kimberly lost her life to meningitis B.

One week before her high school graduation, Kimberly came home from school with a fever and body aches. Within hours, her symptoms turned critical.

Kimberly was a healthy 17-year-old who never got to graduate or dance at prom. She never had the chance to get vaccinated against meningitis B. But now, teens do.

Her mother, Patti, wants families to know that teens and young adults need protection against ALL five strains that cause meningococcal disease: A, B, C, W, and Y.

In Kimberly's memory, ask your healthcare provider about meningococcal vaccination.

⚠️⚠️ INFANT FORMULA RECALL ⚠️⚠️

Nara Organics has recalled all of its whole milk organic powdered infant formula currently on the market out of an abundance of caution due to the potential risk of Clostridium botulinum contamination, which can cause serious illness among infants.

Nara Organics Powdered Infant Formula was distributed nationally across Target retail stores, Target.com, and Nara.com between July 2025 and June 2026.

Customers should stop using the affected products immediately and either return it or dispose of it. If your baby has consumed this product and is presenting symptoms of infant botulism including, but not limited to vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, poor feeding, drooping eyelids, and weak crying, please contact your healthcare provider for immediate care.
