🎨✨ Awakening the Artist Within ✨🎨
What happens when you give a mom the opportunity to slow down, create, and discover something new about herself?
She discovers that there is an artist within her waiting to come alive. ❤️
We were honored to celebrate the incredible women in our parenting program through our Vitality Women’s Clinic Artist Showcase — a beautiful program made possible in part by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council.
Through this program, moms enrolled in our parenting classes had the opportunity to step outside of their everyday responsibilities and into a creative space where they could simply create.
Under the wonderful guidance of Vickie Hopkins at Party on Broadway, these moms participated in art classes and explored their creativity — some of them picking up a paintbrush for the very first time. 🖌️
And then came the moment we had all been waiting for…
✨ The Artist Showcase! ✨
We gathered to celebrate their beautiful work and, more importantly, to celebrate them at the Wedge Innovation Center in Alton.
Every painting represented more than a canvas. It represented courage, creativity, confidence, and the willingness to try something new.
At Vitality Women’s Clinic, we believe supporting women and families means looking at the whole person — nurturing not only their parenting journey, but their gifts, dreams, confidence, and potential.
And this is just the beginning. ❤️
We have more art classes coming, more opportunities for moms to discover their creative gifts, and more incredible community partnerships on the horizon.
We are so grateful to the Illinois Arts Council, Vickie Hopkins and Party on Broadway, the The Wedge, and every community partner who helped make this vision possible.
Most of all, we are proud of every mom who picked up a paintbrush and said, “I can do this.”
Because sometimes, all it takes is someone believing in you — and a little space to discover what was already inside you. 🎨❤️
This is Vitality. This is community. And this is only the beginning.
