Taking care of your health just got a little easier.

Starting in October, the Wayne County Health & Human Services STD Clinic will offer Walk-In Hours on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

✅ No appointment needed
🧪 Confidential testing and treatment
🛡️ Prevention and protection resources
💙 Compassionate, community-focused care

Walk-ins are welcome during the listed hours, but please arrive early to ensure you can be seen.

Wayne County Government Offices will be closed Monday, September 7, 2026 in observance of Labor Day. Offices will reopen Tuesday, September 8, 2026, for normal business hours. Some weekend services may be impacted as well. For a complete list of schedule changes, click the link in the comments.

You never know when you might be in a position to help someone experiencing an opioid overdose. Knowing how to use Narcan (Naloxone) could make the difference between life and death.

Big shoutout to our amazing middle and high schoolers from the Boys & Girls Club of Wayne County who just wrapped up the Catch My Breath program!

Over the last few weeks, these students stepped up to learn the truth about va**ng, peer pressure, and how to protect their health. They are walking away with the tools to make smart choices and breathe easy!

They were able to share their creativity and marketing skills as they worked together to create campaign posters to share the health risks of va**ng and to***co related products. Check them out below!
