Well, he’s officially given us his 24-hour notice to vacate the property. We checked the employee handbook and, unfortunately, there’s nothing in there about denying retirement requests. 😅 Join us TOMORROW from 1–3 PM to honor Rob and shower him with all the gratitude he deserves.

While it’s hard to imagine Topside without him, we hope you’ll join us in honoring and celebrating Rob!

Our hearts are full after this surprise delivery made possible by an anonymous donor. We put out a call for help stocking our bookshelves for our elders, and this special person answered in such a meaningful way. Through the hearts and hands of Saddle & Swoon, along with a beautiful bonus gift of flowers from Fork & Hay Flower Company our elders received such a thoughtful gift. It’s a beautiful thing when our sweet little town comes together for one another. 💕📚💐We can’t wait to add this stack to our other donated stories!

As you clean out your shelves after the Community-Wide Garage Sale, consider giving your gently used books a new home at Topside Manor!

We are working on refreshing and revitalizing our library space for our residents and would love your help adding some “new-to-us” reading material. Novels, mysteries, westerns, inspirational books, biographies, and other popular reads are all welcome.

🎉 A huge shoutout to Topside’s newest CNAs, Bella and Adelaide! 🎉

Bella and Adelaide recently completed their CNA training through Fort Hays Tech’s program in partnership with Topside, and we couldn’t be more proud of their hard work and dedication. We’re excited to have them as part of the caregiving team! And even better, Bella is our intern through the NexGen summer program.

We’d also like to give a special shoutout to Cari—Bella’s mom and a familiar face around Topside—who tested yesterday for her Dietary Manager Certification! This accomplishment has been a long time in the making, and we are incredibly proud of all the effort she has put in to reach this milestone.

Join us in congratulating all three of these amazing women! Your hard work, perseverance, and commitment to serving others do not go unnoticed. 💙👏

🩸❤️ Sherman County, you showed up and showed out! ❤️🩸

Our American Red Cross Blood Drive on May 29th was an incredible success! We set a goal of 20 units of blood and thanks to the generosity of our community, 29 units were collected!

We were honored to host this event and loved welcoming so many community members into our home. One of the biggest surprises was hearing how many people had never been inside before—we were thrilled to have the opportunity to open our doors and connect with you.

Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and helped make this event possible. Your generosity will help save lives.

Keep an eye out for future blood drive dates—we can’t wait to do it again! ❤️🩸

Family helping family—that’s what Topside Manor is all about. ❤️

When one of our care partners called before her Friday afternoon shift with unexpected car trouble, the Owens family stepped up without hesitation. Anita Owens, our Business Manager, along with Tristan Owens from Maintenance and Stacy Owens, made the trip to Burlington, CO to help get the issue resolved and ensure our team member could get back on the road.

Their willingness to go above and beyond reflects the heart of our community and our commitment to supporting one another. A huge shoutout to the Owens family for their kindness, teamwork, and dedication to making sure our elders continued to receive the exceptional care they deserve.
