“What would you tell your sixteen‑year‑old self?”
That’s the question we posed to residents and staff this week.
The answers were wise, funny, and wonderfully honest — including a few classics like: “Stop! Don’t get that haircut!” Many also laughed and admitted, “Not that it would’ve mattered… I wouldn’t have listened at 16.” But the stories were priceless, and the honesty even better.

This week we say goodbye to someone who has kept our building shining for years. Diane is officially retiring, and honestly, we’re still not sure how we’ll manage without her. She was even cleaning up at her own retirement party — that’s the level of dedication we’ve been lucky to have. We’ll miss her smile most of all. Wishing her the happiest retirement.

Yesterday we took some of our residents out on beautiful Lake Geneva for an Ice Cream Boat Tour — and it couldn’t have been a more perfect day. The weather showed off, our captain was fantastic, and the ice cream… well, let’s just say not a single drop was spilled.
