Job Description:
We are seeking an energetic and caring part-time administrative professional for our child therapy and assessment practice. Currently, the position requires 8-12 hours per week, including at least two afternoon/early evening shifts. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals, college students in psychology, education, social work, or related fields, and retirees looking to stay active.
Responsibilities:
Supervision of child clients in the lobby
Manage reception of clients and incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy
Perform clerical duties including scheduling, filing and maintaining organized records within our electronic health records system
Maintain positive employee and client relations
Other responsibilities will be determined based on employee strengths and practice needs
The ideal candidate would demonstrate:
strong telephone and email communication skills
a positive, respectful and supportive attitude towards children and families
fluency with technology
a willingness to work flexibly and creatively
an understanding of how to manage and balance a variety of responsibilities
Time Commitments and Scheduling:
While there is some flexibility in hours for candidates who can support our practice’s mission, the role will minimally require afternoon and early evening hours.
