I’ve watched healthcare move from treating symptoms to finding root causes to looking at the whole person.
And that’s progress. But after almost 20 years as a physical therapist and lifetime of managing chronic illness, I think there’s still a piece missing.
You can look at every piece of the puzzle and still miss the picture.
Your gut. Your hormones. Your sleep. Your stress. Your movement. Your nervous system.
You can work on every single one and STILL feel like you’re playing whack-a-mole with your symptoms.
Not because those things don’t matter. They absolutely do.
But your body isn’t a collection of separate problems to fix.
How you sleep affects how you recover, repair, and handle stress. Pain changes how you think, feel, and move. Your environment shapes your habits and impacts your physiology. And what you’re dealing with physically affects how much you have left for everything else.
Those connections matter more than the individual pieces.
That’s why I take a multi-system approach, looking at your body, lifestyle, and environment as an ecosystem.
I’m interested in how everything interacts, what’s influencing what, and where we might be missing something.
AND THEN... I simplify. I distill down to the few things that impact as many systems with the least amount of effort.
Because I’ve been on the other side of this, too. Searching for answers. Trying things. Wanting someone to understand why I still didn’t feel like myself.
I’m not interested in handing you another list of things to do.
I want to help you understand what’s happening across the bigger picture and what actually matters for *you*.
That’s what I do at The Modern Physio and online with my Embodied Resonance Method.
