I am a personal trainer, fitness instructor, spinning/TRX certified and currently the Outreach Fitness Cordinator at Access Fitness. I was the fitness director at the Indian Family Health Clinic in Great Falls, MT for 1year. A personal trainer/cycling/fitness/boxing/silver sneakers instructor at the Peak for 6 1/2 years, an

dMalmstrom AFB. I have worked in Florida, Texas, Montana, and Las Vegas NV. I have been in the fitness industry since '03. My passion started in 2000, when walking up the stairs to the 3rd floor became an issue. I was a smoker, fast food dependent, party animal and 100lbs overweight!!! Crazy but true. I lost 100lbs on my own. Taught myself the proper way to eat after yo-yo dieting. I believe weights are a girl's best friend. I enjoy learning about anything that will make me live longer. I love my job and I am thankful to God for every person I get to meet and train. I have taught Bootcamps, Senior Yoga, Senior Circuit, Kids Circuit, Weight Lifting for Seniors, PACE, Spinning, and boxing classes. My very favorite is Personal Training because you get to meet each individual and can really help them achieve what they want. I love meeting people learning about their issues and difficulties when it comes to being able to lose weight. Shoot me an e-mail if you have any questions or concerns.

One of my favorite hymns has always been
"Count Your Blessings"

Some of the lyrics go like this;
Count your many blessings
Name them one by one
See what God has done

This picture was taken today, COVID DAYS when all
classes were very limited. Cycling could only be taught in open space like in the front pad of the gym.

I hope you all remember how hard it was to connect with family and friends. How desperately we wanted gyms to open once again.

Don't ever forget that you are blessed!!!

I know I sometimes forget, and need a friendly reminder like this one here 👇🏾👇🏾

Did you know bone mineral density (BMD) peaks around age 25 to 30.

It gradually declines thereafter, with bone loss accelerating significantly after age 50—particularly in women due to menopause.

Age 0-20 Bones grow rapidly, accruing 40% to 60% of total adult bone mass during puberty.

Peak Bone Mass - Age 25 - 30 Maximum bone density and strength are achieved. Higher peak mass offers better protection against later bone loss.

Plateau Phase (Ages 30–50): Bone formation and breakdown remain relatively balanced, keeping density stable.

Accelerated Decline (Age 50+): Bone breakdown (resorption by osteoclasts) outpaces bone formation (by osteoblasts).

**Women: Experience a sharp, rapid acceleration of bone loss (losing up to 20% over 5 to 7 years) during perimenopause and menopause due to falling estrogen levels.

**Men: Experience a more gradual, linear decline in bone density midlife and onward, lacking the steep hormonal drop seen in women, though they are still at risk for osteoporosis later in life.

Routine screening is generally recommended for all women aged 65 and older, and earlier for individuals with specific risk factors like prior fractures* or low hormone levels.

No, you should not burn ❤️‍🔥 the same number of calories every workout.

Your calorie-burn target should match

1. Body size/Fitness Level (Heavier or more muscular people burn more for the same activity) Trained individuals will burn more due to efficiency and muscle engagement

2. Workout Type or Intensity - Running, HIIT, Swimming, Strength Training all burn ❤️‍🔥 very different amounts of calories
