Why Section Yellow?
It starts with a simple question: “What section are you sitting in?”
But for us, Section Yellow means so much more.

💛 Section represents finding your place and your people.
💛 Yellow represents recovery, hope, and a brighter future.
Together, we're creating a community where people in recovery and their allies can celebrate Packers football, build connections, and experience the excitement of game day in a supportive, sober-friendly environment.

Because everyone deserves a place to belong. Learn more at SectionYellow.com.

In 2019, John Plageman asked, “What if we had a sober support table at Lambeau Field?”
That question grew into Section Yellow. 💛

Over the past seven years, JP’s leadership helped bring sober support to Lambeau Field and the NFL Draft, build partnerships with local sports organizations, and share the message of recovery through national media.

As JP steps back from co-leading Section Yellow to focus on his career and family, he will remain a dedicated volunteer and important part of our community.

Please join us in thanking JP (John Plageman) for seven years of service, hope, and immeasurable impact.

Sober support belongs wherever fans gather. 💛
Thomas shared a story about Andy Borden and fellow Buffalo fans working to build sober community in Orchard Park, with the hope of bringing a sober support table to their stadium. Their efforts have drawn inspiration from Section Yellow—and we’re cheering them on.
This is about helping more people enjoy the teams they love while feeling connected and supported in their choice not to drink.
Different jerseys. A shared belief that every fan deserves to belong.
