We started a little back massage train at Diamond, and look at those smiles! Music, laughter, and happiness all around. There’s nothing quite like a little relaxation and a lot of love to brighten someone’s day.

These simple moments of connection are what make our community so special. We love seeing our residents enjoying each other’s company and sharing a little joy along the way!

Today, the Diamond family came together to celebrate an amazing team member, Charlene! 💐

We enjoyed lots of laughs and plenty of special memories as we celebrated all the joy, kindness, and heart Charlene has brought to our community.

Charlene has been a wonderful part of the Diamond family, and we are so grateful for the time, care, and smiles she has shared with our residents, families, and team.

🇺🇸❤️ Honoring Our Veterans Through Comradeship & Connection

A special thank you to John from Haven Hospice for hosting our monthly Veterans Group! We are so grateful for the time, care, and camaraderie he brings to our community.

Diamond is proud to have such a wonderful population of resident veterans, and these monthly gatherings give them an opportunity to connect with fellow veterans, share stories, reminisce, laugh, and enjoy the unique bond that comes from having shared experiences.

For our veterans, socializing with others who understand their experiences can be incredibly meaningful. It’s about friendship, belonging, and continuing the spirit of comradeship that has always been an important part of military life.

Thank you, John, for helping us create a space where our veterans can come together, support one another, and celebrate the memories and experiences that connect them. We are honored to serve those who served our country. 🇺🇸

👠 There’s No Place Like Home… especially on Wizard of Oz Day! 🌪️

We had the most magical time celebrating The Wizard of Oz!

Our residents enjoyed dressing up in costumes, delicious themed treats, traveling down our very own Yellow Brick Road, Wizard of Oz trivia, music, and of course… Wizard of Oz Bingo!

For many of our seniors, The Wizard of Oz is more than just a beloved movie—it’s a treasured part of their memories and a wonderful way to spark reminiscence, conversation, and connection. Familiar songs, characters, and scenes can bring back stories from childhood and create opportunities to share memories with friends and caregivers.

There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and “I remember that!” moments throughout the day.

Some memories may fade, but the joy they bring can still shine brightly. Thank you to Melanie with Enhabit Home Health & Hospice for providing our sweet treats and being our Glenda for the day!

Family BBQ Day in Memory Care!

What a special day in our Memory Care neighborhood! We enjoyed delicious BBQ, laughter, sunshine, and so many smiles as our residents spent quality time with their loved ones.

Family moments like these are so meaningful. For those living with Alzheimer’s and dementia, familiar traditions, favorite foods, music, and time spent with family can create comfort, connection, and a sense of belonging. Even when memories become harder to recall, the feelings of love and togetherness can remain.

Thank you to all of the families who came out and helped us continue these special traditions. It’s not just about making memories—it’s about creating meaningful moments together, today and every day.

BACK TO SCHOOL FUN! 🎓🍎

It was time to head back to the classroom—but this time, our residents were the students!

We celebrated Back to School with a fun game of Graduate or Fail Trivia, putting their knowledge to the test with questions that brought back plenty of memories!

Between the laughs, friendly competition, and reminiscing about their own school days, our residents had a GREAT time sharing stories about teachers, classmates, school dances, lunchrooms, and those unforgettable back-to-school days.

Who graduated with flying colors? Who needed a little extra credit? 😉 Either way, everyone passed the fun test! 🏆

🎶🖤 JOHNNY CASH DAY! 🖤🎶

What a fun day celebrating the legendary Johnny Cash! Our residents had a blast playing Johnny Cash Bingo, testing their knowledge with Johnny Cash trivia, and seeing who could name that Johnny Cash song!

There were lots of smiles, laughter, and plenty of toe-tapping along the way! 🤠

A fun day for all—and one we won’t soon forget!

A Special Visit That Brightened Everyone’s Day!

Our wonderful volunteer, Tara, brought her children in for a special treat for our seniors—and their faces lit up the moment they saw the kids!

There’s something truly magical about the joy, laughter, and connection children bring. These sweet moments created smiles, warmed hearts, and memories that will last long after the visit.

Thank you, Tara, for sharing your beautiful family with us and bringing so much happiness to our residents! We absolutely loved having you all here!

Creating Beautiful Centerpieces Together!

The ladies had a wonderful time coming together to put together our new faux floral centerpieces for the dining room!

With lots of laughter, creativity, and teamwork, everyone helped arrange the flowers into beautiful displays that will brighten up our tables and bring a cheerful touch to mealtimes.

It’s amazing how something so simple can turn into such a fun and meaningful activity—giving everyone a chance to socialize, express creativity, and take pride in something they created together.

A big thank you to our residents for their hard work and beautiful designs!
