The Quilted Hug Project began with a simple idea: when you've been blessed, you pay that blessing forward.

Inspired by the needs of Seniors the creators of the Quilted Hug Project designed a special shawl that provides comfort, dignity, warmth, and the feeling of a gentle embrace. Each Quilted Hug Shawl is lovingly handcrafted with pockets and a unique design that wraps comfortably around the shoulders, bringing joy to those who need it most.

We are incredibly grateful to have received a donated Quilted Hug Shawl, and we're excited to make it available as a special item during our upcoming Special Resident Auction!

Residents will have the opportunity to bid on this beautiful handcrafted shawl using their Diamond Dollars. It's more than just a shawl—it's a symbol of kindness, comfort, and community.

What a wonderful weekend celebrating another trip around the sun! Mr. Tony was surrounded by smiles, laughter, and most importantly, the love of his family as they joined him to celebrate his special day. ❤️

Birthdays are always a reason to celebrate in our community, but having family here to share in those moments makes them even more meaningful. Family visits help strengthen connections, spark treasured memories, and remind our residents just how loved they are. Those shared hugs, stories, and laughter create memories that last far beyond the celebration itself.

A big thank you to our wonderful donor for the beautiful hats!

Sue and Rita had so much fun trying them on and picking out their favorites. Rita declared she looked like a cowboy, while Sue said she felt like she was heading to the Kentucky Derby! 🐎🌹

Their hat fashion show sparked a wonderful conversation about horses, horse racing, and favorite memories, bringing smiles and laughter all around. Moments like these remind us how simple activities can encourage meaningful conversations, social connection, and reminiscing.

As an added bonus, these stylish hats will also help protect our residents from the sun during one of their favorite gathering spots in our community—relaxing under the beautiful skylights.

There’s nothing quite like a beautiful Florida day! ☀️

Our residents enjoyed spending time outdoors in our secure, fenced-in courtyard, soaking up the sunshine, admiring the blooming flowers, and relaxing in one of our many comfortable seating areas. Whether it’s a peaceful stroll, a friendly conversation, or simply enjoying the fresh air, these moments bring so much joy.

Time outdoors offers countless benefits for seniors, including boosting mood, encouraging gentle physical activity, supporting better sleep, and providing valuable exposure to fresh air and natural sunlight. It’s amazing how something as simple as a walk in the sunshine can brighten the day.

Days like today remind us that some of life’s greatest pleasures are found in nature and shared with friends.

💰🔨 SOLD! SOLD! SOLD! 🔨💰

Our residents had an absolute blast at our semi-annual auction yesterday! The bidding wars were fierce, the competition was friendly, and the excitement was contagious. One of the hottest items of the day? A luxurious set of bath towels that sparked an intense bidding battle!

Beyond all the fun, activities like auctions provide wonderful cognitive benefits by encouraging decision-making, money management, problem-solving, social interaction, and memory recall—all while having a great time with friends.

A huge thank you to Megan and Jayme from PruittHealth for helping with the auction and generously donating items for our residents. We would also like to extend a special thank you to our local resident, Lori, for her thoughtful donations. Your generosity helped make this event extra special!

The smiles, laughter, and excitement throughout the room made it clear that everyone loved every minute of the action. We can’t wait for our next auction day!

Bonnie has found a new best friend! 🐱

A huge thank you to local resident Erin for thinking of us at Diamond and generously donating a Joy for All Companion Cat for our residents in Memory Care. These interactive pets provide comfort, companionship, and meaningful engagement for individuals living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

Companion pets can help reduce anxiety, encourage conversation, promote positive emotions, and provide a calming sense of purpose and connection. Seeing Margaret light up while spending time with her new furry friend was truly heartwarming!

🎶 Karaoke Day was a hit! 🎤

Our residents, staff, and visiting providers from Concierge Care and VITAS Healthcare took center stage for an afternoon full of music, laughter, and unforgettable performances! From classic favorites to crowd-pleasing hits, everyone had the chance to show off their talent—or at least their passion for singing!

There were plenty of smiles, cheers, and standing ovations as we sang along and made wonderful memories together. We loved seeing everyone join in the fun and share their favorite songs with friends.

A big thank you to our friends from Concierge Care and VITAS Healthcare for singing along and helping make the day extra special!

Who knew we had so many stars in our community? 🌟
