Last week I returned from receiving panchakarma in southern India. It was an incredible experience! I have never felt so well taken care of and nurtured. It left me with a deepened sense of relaxation and lightness of being.
Panchakarma is the traditional cleansing method of Ayurveda. It helps in removing accumulated toxins from the body. During the process a simple diet of lentils, rice, and veggies is recommended.

While I’ve done home cleanses before, this was definitely a step above and beyond! What a gift to receive 2-3 hours of bodywork daily and have freshly cooked delicious meals prepared for us.
I’m feeling deeply grateful for the opportunity!

India is truly etched into my heart and continues to weave its way into my thoughts. As I reflect upon the experiences I’m left with a profound feeling of connection.

What’s happening today? Are they donuts? No, not quite!
I have a client coming in for a netra basti treatment this afternoon!

This is an ancient practice of using lukewarm ghee to nourish and hydrate the eye itself along with the surrounding tissues. The dough basti is placed around each eye to contain the ghee.
Helpful for dryness, tired eyes from overwork or too much screen time.

Spa day for the eyes! It feels wonderful!

Herbal teas for optimal hydration. Today I am enjoying nettle, rooibos, and mint sun tea. Minerals and relaxation in a cup! 🍵
Another delicious blend I have is lavender, rosemary, and lemon balm. Cognition boosting, memory enhancing, and soothing for digestion. Delicious & beneficial in a myriad of ways!
