Aloha everyone!
My name is Kaipo Soledade, founder of XKAI Medical Kits.
I created XKAI while I was in EMT school in 2021, after putting together a last-minute emergency kit for my dad before a surf trip to Mexico. That moment opened my eyes to a major gap in trauma kits designed for ocean environments. Most kits either lacked critical supplies or were overloaded with unnecessary items - making them expensive and inefficient when every second matters.
I set out to build something better: a purpose-driven kit with exactly what you need to save a life.
Growing up in and around the ocean, I’ve learned that safety is never a solo effort. It takes a community, both in and out of the water, to make sure everyone gets home. I’ve been fortunate to learn from the people I look up to, and that responsibility is something I carry into everything I build.
At XKAI, our mission is simple: prepare people for the unknown—so when the moment comes, they’re ready to make a difference and help someone get back to their family.
Because when help is far away, preparation isn’t optional—it’s everything.
