After noticing a gap in the realm of places to co-work and network for small business owners, Eleanor Thomas, a fellow small business owner and real estate agent, started InventHer in January 2025, providing a quiet place to work, host meetings, and network geared towards women in business.

After a year of the doors being open, InventHer expanded to include a shop of locally crafted goods from small businesses in the ENC area, as well as opening up a dedicated space for general co-working. With the concept of having a place to gather outside of work and home, The Third Space is dedicated to providing a clean community based place to land.

Memberships are broken into categories to provide exactly what each member needs, and can be canceled at any time. For anyone interested in seeing if the space is a good fit, there is an opportunity to drop in for a small fee that can be credited towards a membership.

You can find the space in historic Downtown Jacksonville, NC at 516 Court St. Suite 200, entrance off of College St. any time Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm and Sunday 10am-2pm

GRAND OPENING 🥳 🎉 🪅 🎊 of Maplewood Lane is happening Friday, June 19th starting at 10am. They are stocking our full line of elderberry products, including elderberry syrup, 12 loose leaf tea blends, tea bags, coffee, blueberry elderberry jam, shimmer drops, 7 unique local shrub drink mixers, all body products (magnesium cream, chest balm, bug balm, lip balm, soap, lotion bars) and even our signature eldeberrry honey ice cream!
