With nearly three decades of experience and a true passion for helping others here at Langley, Jennifer brings our core values to life each day through her leadership, dedication, and commitment to our residents and staff.
One recent moment perfectly captured why Jennifer remains so focused on this work every day. Langley Post Acute held a clap out for a resident who had been with us for 100 days and was finally headed home. Our therapy team helped him up on his standing walker and had him walk the red carpet, where his wife was waiting for him at the other end. There, in the lobby, they kissed, and there was not a dry eye in the room. For Jennifer, it was a powerful reminder of what is possible when an entire team comes together each day with passion and focus, working toward the shared goal of reuniting loved ones at home.
Jennifer also believes one of the biggest misconceptions about skilled nursing facilities is quickly changed when families experience the care firsthand. As one family recently shared, “Jennifer, you and your team have changed all my thoughts about a nursing home and having to be here for rehab. Everyone on the team is so nice, the facility is beautiful and everyone makes us feel welcome.” To Jennifer, that is one of the greatest compliments an Administrator can receive. As a leader, she works every day to trust and empower her staff, showing residents and families that they are surrounded by professionals committed to making their experience a positive one.
That same approach shapes the culture Jennifer creates at Langley. She leads with the core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence at all times, believing that a winning culture starts with doing what we say we will do, apologizing when we are wrong, and showing up each day with a smile and a willingness to give our very best. When everyone commits to those simple but meaningful actions, the results follow.
