The research titled, “Nurse and Provider Perceptions of Palliative Care”, was conducted by Eydie Tipton, DNP, RN, CCRN, CNML, EBP-CH, nurse researcher; Tracy Viers, MSN, APRN, AC-AGCNS, ACHPN; critical care clinical nurse specialist; and Chelsea Wilson, MSN, APRN, AGCNS-BC, palliative care clinical nurse specialist.

Don’t ignore the screenings that could help detect health concerns early. Join us Monday, June 15 from 7 – 9 am at the Blessing Health Cancer Center Complimentary Services Room for a Men’s Health Screening event.

Screenings include:
✔️ PSA blood test
✔️ Prostate exam
✔️ Blood pressure screening
✔️ Cholesterol screening
✔️ Hemoglobin A1C screening for those who qualify

We are super excited to let our friends in Hannibal know...Dr. Dan Boeder is heading to Missouri once a week!👏

Dr. Boeder will starting his week off at Blessing Health Hannibal every Monday from 8 am – 4:30 pm. He will then continue services in our Outpatient Behavioral Health clinic in Quincy, Tuesday through Friday.

The Behavioral Health office is located in Suite 1H of our Blessing Health Hannibal facility at 100 Medical Drive in Hannibal. Call 573-231-3855 for more details.

Few things are more exciting for youngsters than the freedom found on a bicycle ride.

According to national statistics, over 220,000 children are treated in emergency rooms each year for bicycle injuries. So to help make the experience as safe as it is exciting, Blessing Health Hannibal hosted its annual Ride Cool bike safety event this past weekend!!

A special shoutout to Dr. Frazine for her egg drop demonstration. For the demonstration, she took an egg in a ziplock bag and dropped it! The drop resulted in the egg breaking. Then she took another egg in a ziplock bag, put it in a helmet, and dropped it. With the proper protection to keep the egg safe, no egg was harmed in this drop! The egg symbolizes a kid's brain and what would happen if they don't wear a helmet.

We sure had a blast with all of you this weekend. Thank you for allowing supporting us in our mission to serve you:)
