Peter Becker Community Celebrates First Student Scholarship Ceremony
On Monday, June 30, Peter Becker Community proudly hosted its inaugural Student Scholarship Ceremony, recognizing five outstanding graduating seniors who have made meaningful contributions to our community while preparing for the next chapter of their lives.
The Student Scholarship Program was created to celebrate and support our graduating student employees as they pursue their educational and career goals. Thanks to the generosity of our Auxiliary, each scholarship recipient was awarded a $1,000 scholarship.
To be eligible, students completed a scholarship application, worked a minimum of 400 hours over the past year, and submitted a personal essay reflecting on their experiences at Peter Becker Community and their future aspirations.
One of the highlights of the evening was hearing each recipient share their essay. Their heartfelt reflections about the relationships they built, the lessons they learned, and the impact their time at Peter Becker Community had on them served as a wonderful reminder of the important role our organization plays—not only in the lives of our residents, but also in the growth and development of our team members.
The students were joined by their families as we celebrated their accomplishments, thanked them for their dedication, and wished them continued success. We are incredibly proud of each of these young adults and hope to welcome many of them back to Peter Becker Community during their school breaks as they continue their educational journeys.
