🎉 Exciting things are happening in our OR! 🎉

Our OR team is keeping busy with 8 different providers bringing specialty care right here to Harvey! 🙌 From general surgery and endoscopy to orthopedics, podiatry, ENT, plastic and hand surgery, and VenaSeal procedures — there is a lot happening close to home!

And thanks to some amazing community support, our team has even more tools to help them do what they do best. ❤️

Generous grant funding through the Otto Bremer Trust Community Responsive Grant and the Harvey Area Community Foundation helped us purchase a new Zoll defibrillator, colonoscope, Mayo stand, and equipment for ENT procedures.
New equipment means improved safety, expanded services, and more opportunities for our patients to receive the care they need without having to travel. 🏥👏

A BIG thank you to the North Dakota Community Foundation, Otto Bremer Trust, and Harvey Area Community Foundation for investing in rural healthcare and our community!

And a shoutout to our OR crew — Melanie, Kaitlin, and Dixie — who are pictured with some of the new equipment and keep things moving behind the scenes!

💙 This week, we had the incredible honor of celebrating 54 years of service with Shirley L. 💙

Fifty-four years… what an extraordinary legacy. Very few people can say they’ve dedicated that much of their life to one workplace, and we are incredibly grateful that Shirley chose to spend those years with the St. Aloisius family.

For 54 years, Shirley served in our Dietary Department, caring for others in a way that often happens behind the scenes. Every meal prepared, every smile shared, and every act of kindness helped make our hospital and long-term care community feel more like home. Her dedication, compassion, and quiet commitment have touched countless lives over the years.

Shirley, thank you for everything you’ve given to St. Aloisius. Your hard work, caring heart, and years of service have left a lasting mark on our organization and everyone who had the privilege of working alongside you.

📸 A little throwback to last weekend’s All School Reunion 5K! 🏃‍♀️☀️

SMP Health – St. Aloisius and our Senior Life Solutions team were proud to partner with the CARES Coalition to support this wonderful community event. Nearly 100 participants ran, walked, and even danced their way through the course on a beautiful Harvey morning! 💙

We enjoyed cheering everyone on and handing out post-race snacks at the finish line. Congratulations to Caitlin R. and the CARES Coalition for putting together such a fantastic event—with some awesome prizes too! 🎉👏 Great work!

Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, and helped make the 5K a success. We love being part of events that bring our community together while encouraging health, wellness, and a little fun along the way.
