Everyone had a fabulous time at our “Party Like It's 1776” themed family night. The barbershop quartet entertained enthusiastically! Drinks flowed and the snacks were delicious! It was standing room only.

Purple mounds of scented summer were enjoyed by residents who visited Omiceae Lavender Farm this morning. Our host, Marilyn, gave a talk about the different types of lavender, how they distill the essence and make lavender oil, along with the many other uses. We tasted lavender creamed honey and learned how to use it. Did you know lavender oil is a natural mosquito repellent?

American House Meridian donated food and cash collected in the month of June to the local Haslett Food Bank. A big thank you to all who donated. The Food Bank rep indicated that they can multiply the cash donations due to partnership with local stores!
