Our Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Program has earned a 10-year continuation of accreditation from NAACLS—the highest accreditation period awarded.

This recognition reflects the dedication of our students, faculty, and clinical partners and highlights the quality education and hands-on training provided through the program.

Because of your generosity, we successfully collected 29 units of blood that will help save lives in our communities. Your willingness to donate truly makes a difference.

We are also excited to share that through our scholarship partnership, KIPP Delta will receive a $500 scholarship! 🎉

Last week was all about celebrating the future of laboratory professionals while having FUN along the way!

✨ Day 1: Surprise gifts to kick off the week and show our students how appreciated they are
🔥 Day 2: Cookout + s’mores = great food, laughter, and time together outside the lab
🏃‍♀️ Day 3: Lab Week 5K — students laced up and showed their dedication both in and out of the classroom
🏅 Day 4: Lab Week Olympics — teamwork, competition, and lots of unforgettable moments!

Medical Laboratory Professionals Week is a nationally recognized celebration that honors the vital role lab professionals play in healthcare.

What a trip to remember! 🎉⁣

Our MLT students had an amazing time in Little Rock filled with great food, fun, and valuable connections. From enjoying delicious seafood to some friendly competition at Topgolf, this trip was the perfect mix of laboratory knowledge and team bonding. 🦐⛳⁣

Even better, students had the opportunity to network with professionals in the laboratory field, gaining insight and making connections that will support their future careers while attending the ASCLS Arkansas conference. ⁣

Experiences like this go beyond the classroom—and we’re so glad our students got to be a part of it! 💙

Our students delivered an outstanding performance last Thursday at the MLT Quiz Bowl, with one team earning a well-deserved 2nd place finish while competing against other MLT programs from across the state. 🧪🏆⁣
