🧪💙 First Lab, First Steps! 💙🧪

Our first-year MLT students are officially getting their hands on the science! 🔬✨ Today they completed their first hands-on pipetting lab, learning the fundamentals of accurate and precise pipetting.

It may seem like a small skill, but mastering the basics is the foundation for everything they’ll do in the laboratory. 🧪📚

We’re so excited to watch these students learn, grow, and build the skills they’ll use throughout their MLT journey!

This recognition reflects the dedication of our students, faculty, and clinical partners and highlights the quality education and hands-on training provided through the program.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support our blood drive! ❤️🩸

Because of your generosity, we successfully collected 29 units of blood that will help save lives in our communities. Your willingness to donate truly makes a difference.

We are also excited to share that through our scholarship partnership, KIPP Delta will receive a $500 scholarship! 🎉

Thank you to every donor, volunteer, and supporter who helped make this event such a success. We could not have done it without you!

🎉🧪 Medical Laboratory Week was one for the books for our MLT students! 🩸🔬

Last week was all about celebrating the future of laboratory professionals while having FUN along the way!

✨ Day 1: Surprise gifts to kick off the week and show our students how appreciated they are
🔥 Day 2: Cookout + s’mores = great food, laughter, and time together outside the lab
🏃‍♀️ Day 3: Lab Week 5K — students laced up and showed their dedication both in and out of the classroom
🏅 Day 4: Lab Week Olympics — teamwork, competition, and lots of unforgettable moments!

Medical Laboratory Professionals Week is a nationally recognized celebration that honors the vital role lab professionals play in healthcare.

We are so proud of our students and the energy they have brought to this special week. The future of the lab is bright, and it starts right here! 💙
