To give recognition and love to them on their day please join us for a fun evening of Grandparents Bingo! We will have fried chicken for dinner, fun prizes, a picture station, and crafts for grandkids to make for their loved elders. It can be a fun night for grandparents/kids to enjoy together or a fun activity for a grandparents night out!

This year’s celebration of Montana Indian Heritage Day brings together storytelling, music, film, and Indigenous comedy for a one-of-a-kind evening.

The night will feature flute and storytelling from Rachel Twoteeth-Pichardo, Métis fiddle playing from Sapphire Jetty, and drumming with a heavy dose of comedy from Mike Jetty.

We’ll also welcome Donnie Wetzel Jr. of the Montana Indian Athletic Hall of Fame for an exclusive 15-minute sneak peek of the new film The Undefeated .

Don't forget to join us on Tuesday September 1st at 5:15 for family night and 7 grandfather teachings education.
The 7 grandfather teachings originated from the Anishinaabe people, they were given as a gift from Gizhe-Manidoo to help watch over humanity as we move through life's cycles. As the Grandfathers witnessed us struggling each sent a helper who could teach us to learn how to live and grow in harmony with all creation.
Now days the 7 grandfather teachings have been adopted by many tribes across turtle island as guiding principles to living life in a good way. While we lead up to Tuesdays family night talk among your family about how you can show eachother examples of each teaching in every day life.

As a reminder our Elders Council meets the 4th Tuesday of the month, it is open to Tribal members and descendants who would like to serve on the council, make important Cultural decisions, and who are committed to being a prominent figure in our community. Look forward to seeing you there!
