Kristen Olberz’s Peri/Menopause Support Group, “The Time is Now” is starting again this Fall at Full Circle! This seven week series begins Thursday, September 10th and is an intimate support group (max. of 7 folks) that combines deep community connection time, introspective and playful expressive arts, and good old-fashioned medical advocacy.

Thursday evenings • 6-8:15pm

Did you know food insecurity can trigger or worsen mental illness? Access to nutritious foods is important for mental health!

We wanted to give a shout out to our friends at Field & Kitchen! Sister org to Caja Solidaria, Field and Kitchen is a shared-use commercial kitchen and local food hub. They offer pay what you can vegan bowls at lunch, Monday-Friday from 11am to 3pm. They also offer a free fridge packed with organic veggies, often from local farms! They also welcome volunteers at Field and Kitchen! Full Circle co-founder, Rebecca Blalock volunteers there a couple times a month!

That’s a wrap folks! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️Hendersonville Pride is hands down our favorite local event! We are privileged to run the Family Corner each year- which always includes a LOT of joy, prizes, and a community art activity for ALL ages! This year we were also SO grateful for the support and community connection goodness with friends Wren George, PA www.patchworkcommunitycare.org and Steph and Caroline who shared space (and a good bit of physical labor) with us! Thank you guys! Also a huge shout out to the always fantastic Kat Beasley who helped out with the block printing activity and is a genuine joy to have around. We also had community wellness newcomer, Maha hanging out with us today, who will be a new and very needed addition to the area soon!

We’re so grateful and humble to be a part of a community so full of LOVE! What a wonderful day. And congrats to the newlyweds! What! A! Day!

Pride Month is more than rainbow logos. It’s a reminder that mental health outcomes improve when people feel safe, seen, and supported. For many LGBTQIA+ folks the weight of rejection, discrimination, isolation, or feeling unseen can have a profound impact on their mental health.

To everyone in the LGBTQIA+ community — You deserve care, support, visibility, safety, the freedom to exist exactly as you are, and most importantly JOY— not just during Pride Month, but every single day of the year. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
