We couldn’t be more proud to celebrate Dr. Sarah Thrower, who was recently named the Mississippi Optometric Association’s Young Optometrist of the Year! 💚

This honor is such a meaningful reflection of the heart of Dr. Thrower brings to everything she does. Her passion for exceptional patient care extends far beyond the exam room. She is deeply invested in serving her community, advancing the field of optometry, and continually growing in her own knowledge so she can provide the very best care to her patients.
And her impact doesn’t stop there. As an educator and mentor through Southern College of Optometry, Dr. Thrower has the privilege of investing in the next generation of optometrists—sharing her knowledge, experience, and passion for the profession with future doctors.
We’re also incredibly proud that Dr. Thrower was a finalist for the MS Optometric Association’s Community Service Award, another reflection of her commitment to giving back and making a difference in the communities she serves.
