I wanted to create the kind of place I would want to escape to myself, warm, peaceful, unhurried and genuinely personal.

I’m Jo-Anne, founder & Licensed Massage Therapist behind Amara Rita Spa. My South African roots have shaped so much of what I’ve created here, especially the belief that hospitality is about more than what you offer it’s about how you make someone feel.

So when you come to Amara Rita, you’re not just another appointment on my schedule. I want you to feel welcomed, cared for & able to switch off for a little while.

This little spa has been built with so much intention, and I’m excited for you to experience it.
