Athlete of the Week: Elizabeth “EC” Bentley

EC has been a standout player at Lakeland Christian School in Florida, helping lead her team to two state championships and four consecutive district and regional titles. She served as team captain and earned First Team All-County honors during her senior season. Congratulations, EC! We’re proud to celebrate your hard work and success! Get to know EC:

BIG NEWS… Radius Physical Therapy is coming to the south end of Hilton Head Island, SC, near the Sea Pines circle!

Athlete of the Week: Chloe Duhon

Meet Chloe, a 7th grader and 12-year-old Level 8 gymnast from our Trussville clinic area who has competed at Regionals in both Levels 6 and 7! She currently holds her gym’s Level 6 records on bars and beam, as well as the Level 7 records on bars, beam, and floor.

Chloe is currently working on Paks, a double-back dismount on bars, a full and a half, strengthening her double-back handspring series on beam, and preparing full routines for the upcoming season. We can’t wait to see all she accomplishes! Get to know Chloe:

Grade: 7th
Favorite sports memory: We were warming up Beam at a meet and I could not land my series. I was stressing and started crying. My coaches and teammates were telling me I’ve got this I can do it and being supportive. When it was my turn I heard my team cheering and I landed my series and stuck my landing and hearing my teammates scream and cheer so loud for me was the best feeling!
Pre-meet ritual: We lost one of my best friends sisters a few years ago and she was like a sister to me. Before every meet a purple glitter ribbon tattoo is put on over my heart in memory of Waydee so I know she is with me and watching over me.
Favorite food: Strawberries
Favorite restaurant: Buffalo Wild Wings
Dream Car: Bronco 
Hobbies: Gymnastics, Swimming, Shopping
Future plans: College gymnastics, Pediatric nurse

This week, we’re recognizing Elijah Glunt, an 11th-grade wide receiver and defensive back for the Clearfield Bison football team!

After returning from offseason surgery, Elijah has made a strong impact on a young Bison team. He currently leads the team with 26 receptions, 387 receiving yards, and 3 touchdowns. Get to know Elijah:

Nathan is off to Spain to work with the United States U20 Men’s National Team for upcoming matches against Brazil and Denmark!

We’re proud to see one of our own representing Radius on the international stage and supporting athletes at the highest level.

While Nathan is away, Malory and Brad will be holding down the Mt. Pleasant Clinic and taking care of our patients. We’ll be cheering on Nathan and the U20 MNT every step of the way!
