🏠 Under this roof, SOAR Special Recreation is creating opportunities for athletes of all abilities to compete, connect, and thrive!

Meet Kathy Cramer, Executive Director of SOAR Special Recreation! 👋

What began with just 140 athletes has grown to more than 600 athletes participating in Special Olympics programming across Beaufort, Jasper, and now Colleton counties. From swimming and bowling to basketball, pickleball, horseback riding, track & field (and so much more!), SOAR offers opportunities for athletes of all abilities to build confidence, friendships, and lifelong skills.

But as Kathy shares, the heart of SOAR isn't the sports... it's the people 🫶

At Lowcountry Outreach, we believe every member of our community deserves the opportunity to connect, grow, and belong. Bringing organizations like SOAR together under one roof helps make that possible!
