I had the pleasure of meeting Lynn Watkins. It was inspiring to learn about her incredible journey as a kidney donor. This December will mark her one-year anniversary of giving the gift of life, and we had such a meaningful conversation about the transplant experience.

Kidney donors are true heroes. Did you know that living donors account for about 30% of kidney transplants in the U.S.? Their selfless acts give thousands of people a second chance at life every year. If you’re considering becoming a donor, remember that your decision could transform a life and bring hope to someone waiting for a miracle.

Excited for the connections and this new journey ahead. Let’s continue to raise awareness and support one another in the transplant community. ❤️

It’s truly an honor and a blessing to share my journey—one marked by trials, triumphs, and unwavering faith. Today, I will have the privilege of speaking at the Southeastern Kidney Transplant Coalition's Annual Meeting, where I’m deeply grateful to serve as a member. I also have the opportunity to highlight the incredible impact of telehealth medicine, a resource that has been a lifeline during my transplant journey.
