Who doesn't love a little shopping spree?! 🛒✨️

Our monthly StoryPoint General Store is always a favorite! Throughout the month, our residents earn or win StoryPoint Dollars, then get to enjoy spending their hard-earned cash on everything from sweet treats and everyday essentials to a little something special just for themselves! 🥰

But our general store is about so much more than shopping. It's about the joy of choosing, the pride of earning, and the freedom to say, "I think I'll treat myself today!" ❤️

Because sometimes, it's the little things that bring the biggest smiles.

Sometimes the best kind of therapy comes with a garden hose. 💚🌱

What started as a simple trip outside to water our fall vegetable garden turned into one of those beautiful little moments that reminds us to slow down and enjoy what’s growing all around us.

We checked on the cabbage, lettuce, and Swiss chard we planted and were delighted to see them peeking up through the soil and getting a little bigger every day. 🌱 We discovered some volunteer basil happily making an appearance, stopped to smell the sweet blooms of the butterfly bush, and watched the bees and butterflies still buzzing from flower to flower. 🦋🐝💜

There’s something so special about sunshine on your face, the scent of flowers, your hands tending something living, and the excitement of seeing a tiny seed become something more.

Sometimes watering the garden waters the soul a little bit, too. 💦🌿💚

🍁🚢 Fall Foliage, River Views & a Birthday Too! 🎂🍂

What a BEAUTIFUL day we had aboard the Southern Belle Riverboat for our Fall Foliage Cruise! The weather could not have been more perfect, and the Tennessee River certainly gave us plenty to see. ❤️

We spotted ducks, herons, turtles, and even a bald eagle soaring overhead! 🦅 Add in a delicious lunch, a little bingo, a fantastic live band, gorgeous scenery, and lots of laughter, and we’d say it was a pretty perfect day on the water. 🎶🍽️

But the day was extra special because one of our residents happened to be celebrating her birthday! 🎉🎂 She was absolutely tickled to spend her special day cruising aboard the Southern Belle—and we were pretty tickled to get to celebrate right along with her! 🥰

Beautiful weather, beautiful scenery, great music, good food, wildlife sightings, and even better company… now THAT is how you do a fall day in Chattanooga! 🍁🧡🚢

Happy Birthday to our birthday girl, Maida, and cheers to another wonderful StoryPoint adventure! 🥳❤️

❤️ There’s Always Something Left to Love ❤️

What a beautiful time of devotion with Chaplain Nate from Hearth Hospice! 🙏🏼

Nate filled the room with joy as he led us in beloved church hymns, and before long, everyone was singing, clapping, smiling, and joining right in. 🎶👏🏼 Then he shared a message that was simple, powerful, and one we hope to carry with us:

“There’s always something left to love.” ❤️

One of the things that makes Chaplain Nate so special is the way he truly sees people. He has an incredible gift for remembering every resident’s name, greeting them personally, and making each person feel known, valued, and important. You can see the difference it makes.

We are so grateful for the laughter, music, encouragement, faith, and love he brings through our doors. Thank you, Chaplain Nate, for reminding us that no matter the season of life, there is always something—and someone—left to love. ❤️🙏🏼🎶

🍽️💙 Serving Up Some Much-Deserved Appreciation! 💛🍰

Three meals a day. Seven days a week. 365 days a year.

When you stop and think about that, it’s pretty incredible. ❤️ Our culinary team shows up day after day to make sure our residents are not only fed, but cared for.

Behind every plate is planning, prepping, cooking, serving, cleaning, special requests, favorite dishes—and a whole lot of hard work. But most importantly, there are people who genuinely care about the residents sitting around those tables. 🥰

So this week, we turned the tables and served up a little love for the people who are always serving us! 🎉 We gathered for a Culinary Appreciation Social with cake, treats, smiles, and plenty of heartfelt thanks.

To our amazing culinary team: we see you, we appreciate you, and we are so grateful for everything you do. Thank you for feeding us, caring for us, and showing up for our residents three times a day, every single day of the year. 💙💛

After all, the best meals aren’t just made with ingredients… they’re made with care. ❤️👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

🧙‍♀️✨ We put a spell on Happy Hour… and it worked! ✨🧙‍♀️

Our Witches’ Brew Happy Hour was an absolutely bewitching success! 🍹💚 We mixed up a cauldron of our special StoryPoint Witches’ Brew, added a little spooky atmosphere, and enjoyed plenty of laughs with some of our favorite people.

The brew was green, the cauldron was bubbling, and the spirits were high — no hocus pocus required! 😂🫧🕷️

Judging by those smiles, we’d say everyone had a fang-tastic time. And don’t worry… the only spell our witches put in the punch was one that makes you come back for another glass! 🧙‍♀️🍹😂

Here’s to good friends, good fun, and a little bit of BOO-ze to kick off spooky season! 👻🥂🎃

🐾💕 Just in case you were scrolling Facebook looking for your daily dose of cuteness… HERE IT IS! 💕🐾

Our Paws on Parade was overflowing with wagging tails, happy faces, and LOTS of puppy love! 🐶❤️ We had such a wonderful turnout, and judging by all these smiles, we’re pretty sure our four-legged visitors enjoyed all the attention just as much as our residents enjoyed giving it!

From sweet snuggles and belly rubs to some seriously adorable costumes, these pups absolutely stole the show! 🎃🐕 And of course, no party is complete without treats—for the pups and the humans! 🦴🍪

🐾 A HUGE thank you to Love on a Leash and to all of the wonderful dog owners who took the time to bring their precious fur babies to our Paws on Parade! You filled our community with so much joy, laughter, love, and plenty of tail wags. Seeing the smiles these sweet pups brought to our residents was absolutely priceless. ❤️

We also want to give a special thank you to Hospice of Chattanooga for generously providing our raffle prize and helping make the day even more special! 💗
