🐴 Happy International Equine-Assisted Services Day!

Every July 29th, we celebrate the humans, horses, practitioners, and communities that make this work possible, and honor the legacy of Lis Hartel, who overcame polio to win two Olympic silver medals in dressage, becoming the first woman to medal in the sport at that level.

EAS work isn't about one final medal moment. Instead, it's about the next step, the next breakthrough, the next small win that builds into something bigger. Horses help us generously, each step of the way, just as they did with Lis. That's the heart of what we do every day at The HERD Institute.

Today we celebrate every horse, every practitioner, and every person who shows up for others.

Why attend a mini herd meditation?

Participants say they appreciate time where they are able to just be. This is the most common feedback we get. There is no pressure to do anything, just space to be with our miniature horses and enjoy the benefits of nature. It is an invitation to slow down and unplug.

Mini herd meditations are offered throughout the year and can also be custom scheduled for groups of at least 4.

Day 2 of The HERD Institute 10th anniversary conference. So many great presentations today and we got to visit Dreams on Horseback and tour their beautiful facility. Excited to head back home to my herd tomorrow full of ideas and inspiration
