100 YEARS YOUNG!
Holt Heritage Village is celebrating a very special milestone—Herb Heie’s 100th birthday! Herb is not only a beloved member of our Heritage Village family, but also a World War II veteran whose life is a true testament to courage, strength, and service to our country. We were honored to celebrate this incredible man and a century of memories, stories, and life experiences. Happy 100th Birthday, Herb!

At 17 years old, Herbert "Herb" Heie enlisted in the US Army Air Forces and fought during World War II. A few years later, he reenlisted to fight in the Korean War.

Our pets bring wonderful companionship to our residents- and encourage everyone to get outside, get moving, and enjoy our beautiful outdoor spaces. We've been enjoying visits from families of deer, curious turkeys, playful raccoons, and other wildlife that make our beautiful natural surroundings feel even more special. Our residents love watching these unexpected guests—it’s just one of the many things that makes life at Holt Heritage Village so unique. Nature is always putting on a show!
